Hi, I'm Colin Hamilton, manager and co-owner of Grand Welcome Whitefish & Glacier Country. My wife and I served overseas with mission organizations and non-profits before returning to Montana to raise our three children.
We turned our dedication to caring for others, hospitality experience, passion for travel, and real estate expertise to focus on helping the fabulous vacation rental owners of Northwest Montana.
I spend my days caring for their properties and homes, proving both our guests and homeowners with unparalleled dedication. I get to work with amazing people from all over the world, and look forward to working with you.
What I Love About GLACIER COUNTRY
When I am not working, my family and I are doing what most Montanan’s love; flyfishing on the Stillwater River and alpine lakes, hiking in the Whitefish and Purcell Ranges, archery hunting in the Bob Marshall Wilderness, and enjoying the spectacular scenery of Glacier National Park.

Hi, I’m Corey Kauffman, co-owner of Grand Welcome Whitefish & Glacier Country. I served in both the US Coast Guard and in Federal Policing, followed by many years owning and managing commercial and residential properties.
After years of vacationing in Northwest Montana, Nicole and I moved from Texas to our favorite place on the planet. We have been coming here for the last decade to hike, kayak, mountain bike, and snowmobile.
These experiences have provided me with a keen ability to focus on detail and customer service, ensuring every guest feels cared for. Our commitment to one-on-one attention to detail helps generate 5-star reviews and keeps guests coming back for repeat bookings.

This depends on the specific location, with permitting, conditional use permits, taxes, and zoning all being factors for vacation rentals in Glacier Country. First you will want to determine whether your home has the proper zoning, or if a conditional use permit will be required. You will also want to check your community or HOA for restrictions on nightly and weekly rentals. You will then obtain the proper permitting including a visit with the sanitarian to ensure compliance. Once you are operational, you will need to get the proper insurance, have a property manager on call within 1 hour response time for your property, and ensure your home is properly maintained and cleaned. You also must maintain a log book of the contact information for all guests within the past year, according to the state of Montana.
